THE FIRST DISCIPLES

These are the names of the twelve apostles:first Simon (who is caled Peter) and his brother Andrew;James son of Zebedee,and his brother John; Philip and Bartholomew; Thomas and Matthew the tax collector; James son of Alphaeus,and Thaddaeus; Simon the Zealot and Judas Iscariot,who betrayed Him. Paul became an apostl after Jesus resurrection (2 Cor. 1:1 ),along whit Barnabas (acts 14:14),and others.

THE MEANING OF THE APOSTLS

Word apostol mean someone who is sent whit a special message or commision.Jesus is called the apostl and high Priest of our confession in Hebrews 3:1.

Apostles established churches (Rom. 15:17-20), exposed error (Gal. 1:6-9) and defended the thrue of of the gospel (phil. 1:7,17).Some were empowered by Holy Spirit to perform Miracles (Matt. 10:1,8) and they were to preach the gospel (Matt. 28:19,20)

WE NEED TO BE APOSTLES TODAY

We follow in the teaching and the example of what Jesus Christ said and did.A disciple is a convert but not all converts are disciples.As disciples we are to bear our cross daily(Matt 16:24).This mean to live and die for Him if necessary(Mat. 16:25).

HOW WE CAN BE SURELY ABOUT APOSTLES??

Apostles are ordained by Jesus Chirst and we can read that in John 15:16, "You did not choose me, but i choose you and appointed you to go and bear fruit-fruit that will last.Then the father will give you whatever you ask in my name"",and in Mark gospel 3:14 " He appointed twelve-designating them apostles-that they might be whit Him and that He might send them out to preach"".

We have more testimony abot that in Bible,word of God that their title are from Jesus Christ.In Luke gospel in 6:13 "When morning came He called His disciples to Him and choose twelve of them,whom he also designated apostles""

We have meny testimony in Bible about that,like that disciples are called by God (1 Co 1:1, 12:28, Ga 1:1,15,16),sent to preach the gospel to oll (Mt 28:19,20,  Ti 1:11),witnesses of the resurrection and ascension of Jesus Christ (Lu 24:33, Ac 1:2-9  10:40,41, 1Co.15:18)

TODAY WE ARE APOSTLES OF THIS WORLD

Today we live in wery fast world,and every day we have so meny cuestions about meny things.Only one is important,do i whant be Jesus apostles?Do i whant be Jesus disciple and live what He say,and preach His word to oll???We have responsibility,becouse that Jesus whant,that we speak and live what He tell to us,and one of that is be His apostl!!!
